Mobile Power Region

A Mobile Power Region is characterized by a smooth interplay of the production and consumption of electricity.

In the Western world, there have already been several attempts to test electromobility models. In Austria there are also test fleets with several dozen E-cars on the road, and leasing models are being tried out for E-vehicles.

"Austrian Mobile Power" is currently developing an integrated master plan, which can be applied to the entire urban region and which represents the complete chain of electromobility - from power plant via the grid and the electric charging station right through to the individual E-vehicle driver, whose vehicle - in turn - can itself become a mini power plant once more.

Politics, the economy and abutters should jointly select those metropolitan areas of Austria in which E-mobility's future is to start.
